Scam warning!

Note to everyone in the guild, and all our out-of-guild friends and readers:
There is a new scam in WoW. Keyloggers and scammers make a character with a similar name to that of someone you know and send you an in-game mail directing you to a website. These are keylogging websites do not go to them! Today most of the guild received a letter from "Hellfìst", but it had one of those stupid diacritical characters in place of the i (non-English funky character that you can't type without using the ALT key).
Needless to say, I don't know anyone who would ever send a web link through in-game mail, especially when we have this nice website with great easy-to-use forums.

During yesterday's BlizzCon tcket sales , you were able to play the new Blizzard Flash game, Failoc-alypse .
Playing as a Terran Marine, a Draenei Death Knight, or a Witchdoctor, your mission is killing as many fail-locs as possible!
As you gain levels, you gain spectators. Arthas himself will even come out to watch you play if you can make it high enough!

Chance took Ulduar by storm, re-visiting an old friend and downing three new bosses!
After a few hiccups with Flame Leviathan, we went on to one-shot XT-002 Deconstructor. Then we went exploring.
Meklar, feeling safe with tracking and feign death, entered Kologam's room and nearly died from fright. Actually, most of us nearly did. "Huh, there's a boss there!" Two wipes, but third time's the charm! Kologam gave it up for Chance.
We explored a bit more, tried the Assembly of Iron (Steelbreaker) a couple times, then decided to go back to the beginning of the dungeon.
We downed Razorscale on the first attempt, then went on to try Ignis the Furnace Master a few times. Most of us got the [Hot Pocket] achievement, but didn't quite manage to get the boss down. 5%, almost!
All in all, not a bad night for a casual guild that happens to raid! 7 people got loot, and 10 people had a blast. Chance is now 4/14 progression in Ulduar.
Website changes

Our website has a dramatically different look. Much cleaner and simpler, with no widgets on the left and right which used to take up 30% of the screen, almost no horizontal dead space (only 7% compared to 30% of the "pretty" layout we used to have), and a color scheme that's much easier on the eyes.Everything you used before is still here, albeit perhaps not immediately apparent. The navigation menu is now horizontal and located near the top of the page; it is a basic menu with no fly-out, drop-down, or pop-up elements. To read more about the changes, click here.
Authenticator app for iPhone

Blizzard announced the release of a new additional security feature for their games, the Battle.net Mobile Authenticator , an extension of the same concept behind the Blizzard Authenticator .
An authenticator generates a one-time password, which you use in addition to an account ID and password to log in to World of Warcraft and other Blizzard Entertainment services. The Battle.net Mobile Authenticator performs this function for the recently launched Battle.net accounts -- only instead of a physical token, the application exists on your mobile phone for easy access.
The Battle.net Mobile Authenticator is now available as a FREE download for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch from the Apple App Store . Versions for other mobile phones are also in the works for the future. Battle.net is a centralized account system that will let players manage all their Blizzard games and Blizzard Store purchases in one place with a single login. Key features include:
- A single login for everything Blizzard-related: World of Warcraft, Diablo III, StarCraft II, the Blizzard Store, the Armory, the WoW forums, etc.
- Store your CD keys for Blizzard games, then download the games whenever you wish.
- Opt in to upcoming beta tests.
- Future additions, including tools to make it easier for friends to communicate between games and to bring players together.
